How to Get Your Takealot API Key

Important Security Notice
Your API key provides access to your Takealot seller account. Always keep it secure and never share it with anyone.
Accessing the Seller Portal
- Log in to your Takealot Seller Account
- Navigate to the Settings section
- Look for the "API Integration" or "API Keys" section
Generating Your API Key
- Click on "Generate New API Key"
- You may be asked to confirm your password
- Copy the generated API key immediately
- Store it in a secure location
Important Notes
- The API key will only be shown once during generation
- If you lose your key, you'll need to generate a new one
- Old keys will be invalidated when new ones are generated
- Never share your API key in public forums or repositories
Setting Up Your API Key in InvoiceNow
- Log in to your InvoiceNow account
- Go to Settings
- Paste your API key in the "Takealot API Key" field
- Click Save to securely store your key
Verification
After saving your API key, InvoiceNow will automatically verify it by:
- Testing the connection to Takealot's API
- Confirming access to invoice data
- Validating permissions for invoice uploads
